About Guess the Pro

Find today’s mystery VCT pro in eight guesses: a daily Valorant pro guessing game in the style of Wordle and Poeltl. Each guess fills a row: green is a match, yellow is close, and the arrows point toward the answer.

How to play

  • Guess the mystery tier 1 VCT pro in eight tries. Pick anyone from the search box; players who share a handle are told apart by team, region and flag.
  • Green means a match. Yellow on Team: the mystery pro played for that team before. Yellow on Role: you share at least one role.
  • Rating, Debut and Maps turn yellow when close (rating within 0.05, debut within one season, maps within 10%). The arrow points toward the answer: ↑ means the mystery pro’s number is higher.
  • Region and Country are only ever green or grey.
  • Solve it to keep your streak. Practice mode serves random pros that do not count.

What is Guess the Pro?

A daily guessing game for pro Valorant fans, like Wordle or Poeltl: you have eight tries to name the mystery tier 1 VCT player. After each guess the grid compares your pick with the answer on team, region, country, role, rating, debut season and maps played.

When does the puzzle reset?

At midnight Beijing time (00:00 UTC+8, 16:00 UTC) every day. Everyone plays the same mystery pro that day.

Is it free?

Yes, free and with no account. Your guesses, stats and streak are saved in your own browser.

How is the mystery pro chosen?

From pros who played at least 20 tier 1 VCT maps in the last two years, so the answer is someone a fan can know. Each date’s pick is fixed in advance, and no pro comes up twice within 120 days.

What do the colours and arrows mean?

Green is an exact match. Yellow means close: a team the pro played for before, a shared role, a rating within 0.05, a debut within one season, or maps within 10% or 10 maps, whichever is wider. An arrow shows whether the answer’s number is higher or lower.

Can I play past puzzles or practice?

Only today’s puzzle counts toward your streak, and there is no archive yet. Practice mode serves random pros as often as you like, without touching your stats.
